Tekken. Just hearing that name can bring back memories from a long time ago. You either played the demo on those old demo discs they had back in the days, or you played a game at a friend's house. Or you own a game or four!
Highly seen as one of the best fighting game ever made, the sixth installment is set to be released on October 27th, for 57 dollars for the console versions and 40 dollars for the PSP one (according to Amazon.com).
What new things can we expect from this game?
-Great new graphics! I mean look at this. I can't say that it uses the PS3 to the max (when we see screenshots from Heavy Rain) but it sure looks great!
-New characters (as in every new fighting game). But this time, there are NO locked characters. From the moment you buy the game, you can play with anyone you want! Now that's pretty cool.
-A whole new game mode looking like a hybrid of a fighting game and beat em all, playable alone or with a friend. Adding that to the online component and the length of the game is greatly increased!
-You can buy the game, or pre-order a collector pack!
So you have the choice to get this awesome pack: you can get Tekken 6 Limited Edition with a Wireless Fight Stick Bundle, an art book, a calendar and a hooded sweatshirt!!! You will be playing arcade style with the buttons and the stick, which are entirely customizable. I personally love it. The price is a bit high though (150 dollars on Amazon.com), but I guess the fans will close their eyes on it.
I think this should be a must get when the fall comes, as the fighting game of choice. I am getting BlazBlue Calamity Trigger soon, so I will tell you how that goes. But Tekken 6? A MUST.
